Make sure to say "Hello" to the Easter Bunny too!Please bring an Easter basket or bag to put your Easter egg goodies in. There will be some eggs with notes in them to claim bigger prizes at the prize table. Come and have some FUN! Please be fair to all involved...share, share, share! We will ask that all participants collect a predetermined number of eggs so that everyone can get some. Then all the rest of the eggs can be collected. This tends to be a very quick event, so be on time! Get ready to pop, lock, and groove! Our Youth Hip Hop Dance Class is the ultimate high-energy experience for kids who love to move. Whether you're a total beginner or already have some slick moves, this class is all about building confidence, learning fresh choreography, and having a blast with friends.All students will be able to participate in our end of year recital on Saturday, June 6th at Sanford High School (time TBD). The cost is $50 per month for a total of $250.  There is an additional $65 cost for a recital costume.Payment Plans are available. Please contact Natalie at ngould@wellstown.org to set up an automatic payment plan. Meet the Instructor: Katie CatalanoKatie has been dancing with Northern Explosion Dance Studio since 2008 but has been dancing since the age of 3. As a dancer, she was a part of our National Champion clogging team (the first from the Northeast since Maine Attraction Cloggers in the early 2000s). She has been an assistant teacher since she was 14 years old. She first started as a lead teacher four years ago. She is currently our competition hip hop teacher and our adult burlesque teacher. She also assists in all our competition clogging classes. This year, Katie was invited to perform with the American Clogging All Stars at the Alamo Bowl halftime show! She is extremely excited to share her passion for dance with the kids in Wells. She brings energy, positivity, and technique to each class. She is motivated for kids to grow in dance but also grow in their passion for dance!

She has been an assistant teacher since she was 14 years old. She first started as a lead teacher four years ago. She is currently our competition hip hop teacher and our adult burlesque teacher. She also assists in all our competition clogging classes. This year, Katie was invited to perform with the American Clogging All Stars at the Alamo Bowl halftime show! She is extremely excited to share her passion for dance with the kids in Wells. She brings energy, positivity, and technique to each class. She is motivated for kids to grow in dance but also grow in their passion for dance!

Get ready to pop, lock, and groove! Our Youth Hip Hop Dance Class is the ultimate high-energy experience for kids who love to move. Whether you're a total beginner or already have some slick moves, this class is all about building confidence, learning fresh choreography, and having a blast with friends.All students will be able to participate in our end of year recital on Saturday, June 6th at Sanford High School (time TBD). The cost is $50 per month for a total of $250.  There is an additional $65 cost for a recital costume.Payment Plans are available. As a dancer, she was a part of our National Champion clogging team (the first from the Northeast since Maine Attraction Cloggers in the early 2000s). PLEASE COMPLETE THE CHECK OUT PROCESS TO BE ADDED TO THE WAIT LIST!Registration Dates for 2025-2026 School Year:Current 24-25 Participants: Tuesday, May 13 Open Registration: Tuesday, May 20Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset are held Monday through Friday at the Wells Activity Center in both the kitchen and stage rooms.Transportation to school (Daybreak) and from school (Sunset) will be provided by Ledgemere school buses or Wells Parks & Recreation vans.During Camp Daybreak children will have a chance to play games, and get out some early energy before school starts. Several activities will be offered to engage the children. Children may also eat their breakfast.At Camp Sunset children will have a snack (provided by the Rec). They will also have activities such as outside games, themed activities, STEM projects, Librarian visits, board games, arts & crafts and more.Schedule:Camp Daybreak & Camp Sunset will be held at the Wells Activity Center (113 Sanford Rd, Wells).Camp Daybreak: 7:00am-Bus pick upCamp Sunset: Van drop off-5:30pmClosed holidays:No School = No Camp Daybreak/SunsetIndigenous People's Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving break, Christmas school break, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Presidents Day and Memorial Day.
