Hip Hop Dance - Hip Hop Dance: K-2 Get ready to pop, lock, and groove! Our Youth Hip Hop Dance Class is the ultimate high-energy experience for kids who love to move. Whether you're a total beginner or already have some slick moves, this class is all about building confidence, learning fresh choreography, and having a blast with friends.All students will be able to participate in our end of year recital on Saturday, June 6th at Sanford High School (time TBD). The cost is $50 per month for a total of $250. There is an additional $65 cost for a recital costume.Payment Plans are available. Meet the Instructor: Katie CatalanoKatie has been dancing with Northern Explosion Dance Studio since 2008 but has been dancing since the age of 3. As a dancer, she was a part of our National Champion clogging team (the first from the Northeast since Maine Attraction Cloggers in the early 2000s). She has been an assistant teacher since she was 14 years old. She first started as a lead teacher four years ago. She is currently our competition hip hop teacher and our adult burlesque teacher. She also assists in all our competition clogging classes. This year, Katie was invited to perform with the American Clogging All Stars at the Alamo Bowl halftime show! She is extremely excited to share her passion for dance with the kids in Wells. She brings energy, positivity, and technique to each class. She is motivated for kids to grow in dance but also grow in their passion for dance!

Adult Fitness - Stretch & Tone: Session 1 Stretch and Tone: This is a low-impact, full body workout that will tone your muscles, increase range of motion, mobility and flexibility, and help reduce stress. We move through a series of stretching and toning exercises that will also help strengthen your bones. No experience necessary. Bring a mat for floor-work and light hand-held weights or 2 filled water bottles to use as weights. Fee: $70 per session or$125 for bothAbout the instructor: Judy Stark has 20+ years experience as a Group Fitness Instructor. She has trained as a 200 hour Yoga Instructor as well as a Strength and Stretch Coach. She teaches classes that are accessible to all, no experience necessary. She works with people who may have injuries and limitations, as well as seasoned exercise enthusiasts. Classes are safe and effective, numerous people feel relief from pain afterwards.

Our campers are encouraged to try new things and to challenge themselves everyday, all the while; creating everlasting friendships and learning important life skills.

If a field trip cannot be held due to the weather, a RAIN DAY will be called and there will be NO JUNIOR LEADERSHIP. We will instead hold camp on Friday. Bring a mat for floor-work and light hand-held weights or 2 filled water bottles to use as weights. She has trained as a 200 hour Yoga Instructor as well as a Strength and Stretch Coach. She teaches classes that are accessible to all, no experience necessary. She works with people who may have injuries and limitations, as well as seasoned exercise enthusiasts. Classes are safe and effective, numerous people feel relief from pain afterwards.

If a field trip cannot be held due to the weather, a RAIN DAY will be called and there will be NO JUNIOR LEADERSHIP. We will instead hold camp on Friday. Due to scheduling, not all rain days will be made up as the same field trip. Alternate plans may be made. Trips may include: Laser tag, hiking & climbing, amusement parks, water parks, and much more!
