Get ready to pop, lock, and groove! Our Youth Hip Hop Dance Class is the ultimate high-energy experience for kids who love to move. Whether you're a total beginner or already have some slick moves, this class is all about building confidence, learning fresh choreography, and having a blast with friends.All students will be able to participate in our end of year recital on Saturday, June 6th at Sanford High School (time TBD). The cost is $50 per month for a total of $250.  There is an additional $65 cost for a recital costume.Payment Plans are available. Please contact Natalie at ngould@wellstown.org to set up an automatic payment plan. Meet the Instructor: Katie CatalanoKatie has been dancing with Northern Explosion Dance Studio since 2008 but has been dancing since the age of 3. As a dancer, she was a part of our National Champion clogging team (the first from the Northeast since Maine Attraction Cloggers in the early 2000s). She has been an assistant teacher since she was 14 years old. She first started as a lead teacher four years ago. She is currently our competition hip hop teacher and our adult burlesque teacher. She also assists in all our competition clogging classes. This year, Katie was invited to perform with the American Clogging All Stars at the Alamo Bowl halftime show! She is extremely excited to share her passion for dance with the kids in Wells. She brings energy, positivity, and technique to each class. She is motivated for kids to grow in dance but also grow in their passion for dance!

Get ready to pop, lock, and groove! Our Youth Hip Hop Dance Class is the ultimate high-energy experience for kids who love to move. Whether you're a total beginner or already have some slick moves, this class is all about building confidence, learning fresh choreography, and having a blast with friends.All students will be able to participate in our end of year recital on Saturday, June 6th at Sanford High School (time TBD). The cost is $50 per month for a total of $250.  There is an additional $65 cost for a recital costume.Payment Plans are available. As a dancer, she was a part of our National Champion clogging team (the first from the Northeast since Maine Attraction Cloggers in the early 2000s). She has been an assistant teacher since she was 14 years old. She first started as a lead teacher four years ago. She is currently our competition hip hop teacher and our adult burlesque teacher. She also assists in all our competition clogging classes. This year, Katie was invited to perform with the American Clogging All Stars at the Alamo Bowl halftime show! She is extremely excited to share her passion for dance with the kids in Wells. She brings energy, positivity, and technique to each class. She is motivated for kids to grow in dance but also grow in their passion for dance!

Get ready to pop, lock, and groove! Our Youth Hip Hop Dance Class is the ultimate high-energy experience for kids who love to move. Whether you're a total beginner or already have some slick moves, this class is all about building confidence, learning fresh choreography, and having a blast with friends.All students will be able to participate in our end of year recital on Saturday, June 6th at Sanford High School (time TBD). The cost is $50 per month for a total of $250.  There is an additional $65 cost for a recital costume.Payment Plans are available. Please contact Natalie at ngould@wellstown.org to set up an automatic payment plan. Meet the Instructor: Katie CatalanoKatie has been dancing with Northern Explosion Dance Studio since 2008 but has been dancing since the age of 3. As a dancer, she was a part of our National Champion clogging team (the first from the Northeast since Maine Attraction Cloggers in the early 2000s). She has been an assistant teacher since she was 14 years old. She first started as a lead teacher four years ago. She is currently our competition hip hop teacher and our adult burlesque teacher. She also assists in all our competition clogging classes. This year, Katie was invited to perform with the American Clogging All Stars at the Alamo Bowl halftime show! She is extremely excited to share her passion for dance with the kids in Wells. She brings energy, positivity, and technique to each class. She is motivated for kids to grow in dance but also grow in their passion for dance!
