Winter Rental Shop
ICE SKATES & SNOWSHOES!
Enjoy Nature’s Winter Wonderland here on the beautiful trails & skating pond (conditions permitting) located at the Rec Park or elsewhere by renting snowshoes, or ice skates. Great for the whole family!
Equipment Available:
Some sizes are limited but we generally have equipment from youth-adult.
- Ice Skates (hockey or figure)
- Snowshoes (poles available)
Rental Package Prices:
Payment is required at time of rental (cash or card).
- $5 per day
- $12 for a weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun with return on Monday by 11:00 am)
- $15 for extended weekend (Fri-Mon with return on Tuesday by 11:00 am)
Returns must be made during open hours. Please do not drop off equipment outside the Rental Shop.

- Mon-Fri 8:00am-3:30pm
- Sat-Sun 10am-1pm as snow/ice conditions permit - Check here or Facebook for weekend availability.
The Rental Shop is located in the Rec Pavilion at the Wells Rec Park.
Donations Accepted:
Have a pair of skates or snowshoes that no one is using any longer? Consider donating them to the Recreation Department! We accept figure skates, hockey skates and non-wooden snowshoes. Please call to schedule a drop off time: 207-646-5826.
