ENTRANCE TO COURTS:
Although the tennis and pickleball courts are open to the public, we use a simple membership and registration system to help manage access. Membership contributions go directly toward supporting the courts through renovations, regular upkeep, and needed repairs.
Members will be assigned a membership code tied to their account, allowing entry to the courts (details below).
COURT ACCESSABILITY:
The courts are available from April - November (weather dependent). Courts are open 7 days per week 7:00 am-8:00 pm. Wells Recreation Dept. will hold youth and adult lessons on the courts during the Spring, Summer and Fall. Times will be posted on the facility calendar on our website.
Court Open Play is held Monday-Friday from 7:30am-10:30am. If courts are full, ROTATIONAL PLAY IS REQUIRED.
Pickleball: 6 Pickleball Courts. Tennis: 2 Tennis Courts.

Taxpayer: Wells Taxpayer - Must show Tax Bill to be eligible for Resident rate.
RULES OF THE COURTS:
- Enter the courts by using your membership barcode.
- Do NOT prop gates open or allow unauthorized users onto the courts.
- Only tennis & pickleball players on the courts. No pets, strollers, skateboards, roller blades, or bicycles on courts.
- Only non-marking sneakers may be worn. Please no cleats or black soled sneakers.
- Courts will be utilized on a first-come, first-serve basis. When people are waiting to use the courts, please keep playing time to one hour. This will give everyone a chance to play.
- ALCOHOL AND TOBACCO PRODUCTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE PARK.
- Do not litter. Please pick up after yourself.
- Tennis & Pickleball Courts are prohibited from being used for profit by any individual or organization. Outside organizations are NOT permitted to charge a fee for use of Town of Wells property.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR A MEMBERSHIP:
You may register for Memberships online below, give us a call or you can stop by the Wells Recreation Office!
2026 Memberships are available now!
You will be given a Membership Card (Key Tag and Digital) with a barcode to access the courts. Key Tags can be picked up at the Recreation Office Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. Digital cards are available on your receipt and in your Wells Rec account. Simply click "View Membership Card(s)" on your receipt! Key tags will be available at the Wells Rec Office and in the Tennis Hut.
When you arrive at the courts simply use your Membership Barcode to access the gate.
Please ensure the gate LOCKS behind you after entering the courts. This prevents unauthorized people from entering. Please help us by informing others about our system.
