Teen Girl Holding A Basketball
Wells Parks & Recreation will be running travel basketball programs this season for boys and girls in grades 3/4. 

This is a competitive program, where teams will compete against other town’s competitive teams in some regular season games and tournaments.  Tryouts will be done to choose players; only 10-12 players per team, some players may be cut.
 
3/4 team note: Other town’s teams are usually made up of all older players; even though we offer this as an option for 3rd graders, most teams are made up of mostly 4th graders with a few 3rd graders.  3/4 teams shoot at a 10’ hoop using a women’s size basketball.  Most 3rd graders are just learning and getting strong enough for the high hoops and larger ball. 
  

Practices will be held at:
 - 3/4 Girls on Tuesdays at the Elem Gym @ 6:00-7:25pm 
 - 3/4 Boys on Wednesdays at the Elem Gym @ 6:00-7:25pm

**Pre-season practice times/days/locations may vary please refer to the teams' schedule**

Games: Mostly weekends but some week nights

Season: Dec Tryouts; practices begin Jan 2 - Feb/March 2024

Fee: $150 (once you make the team)

Pre-register for tryouts; all registered players will be considered for the team.  If you cannot make tryouts please contact the Rec, an alternate date / time may be added.

Tryouts will be held at the Wells Elementary gym on:
 - 3/4 Girls - Tuesday. Dec 12
 - 3/4 Boys - Wednesday, Dec 6
