5-6 Girls Travel
Wells Rec. Travel basketball is a competitive program that plays games against other town's competitive teams. 

Players must tryout to be on the team. Teams have 10-12 players per team, cuts will be made if more than 10-12 players try out. If possible teams will be made up of all one grade and gender level.
*3/4 grade teams play in a mostly 4th grade league.

Season goes from Nov. 1, 2024 to tournaments in March 2025.

5/6 teams will practice at the Jr High gym @ 6:30-7:45pm **
3/4 teams will practice at the Elem gym @ 6:00-7:30pm **
** Some teams may have alternative locations/days/times for practices than is listed in this general information.


Teams will compete in the Southern Maine Hoops League (SMHL) games will be held in Saco and Portland, mostly on Saturdays or Sundays. Tournaments may be added, this will be an additional cost, TBA. 

Players will need a red/white reversible practice pinnie; if you do not already have one please use this link to purchase one.  

Transportation to and from games is the responsibility of the player’s family.
