Lacrosse - Boys Lacrosse - 3rd-4th Grade: Practice Try the fastest growing sport in the country, lacrosse. This will be a travel league playing other area towns.CURRENT SCHEDULE IS TENTATIVE. After the meeting, there will be an opportunity to trade or sell gently used equipment. EQUIPMENT NEEDED:Each player is responsible for getting their own equipment. Equipment is an additional cost to the participant. All equipment must be approved by the coach. Pads that are ND200 compliant are required, not optional, so if you have shoulder pads that are a couple of years old, you will need to have them replaced. Track & Field - Track & Field This instructional and competitive program is designed as an introduction to track and field. Participants will be taught basic techniques in running, sprinting, relay, long jump, standing jump, shot put, discus, softball throw, and turbo jav. Meets: There will be 2-3 meets held with other local Rec Depts. Meets are generally run on Fridays from approximately 4pm-7pm - but participants can leave when they are done their last event. We encourage participants to try as many events as they want (minimum of 3 events, no maximum). Transportation to meets is available through the Rec, if needed.
